تحويل من الأرقام الرومانيّة

هدول برنامجين بيحولو من النظام الروماني لتمثيل الأعداد للنظام العشري, واحد منهم مكتوب بلغة سي++ و التاني بلغة بايثون. البرنامج بيطلب من المستخدم إدخال عدد بالصيغة الرومانيّة, و بعدين بيحولو إلى عدد عشري و بيعرضه. طريقة التحويل بسيطة, و هي إنو نبدا بالنتيجة = 0, بعدين نضيف أول عنصر, و نقارن التاني معو, إذا كان التاني مساوي أو أصغر بنضيفو على النتيجة, أمّا إذا أصغر منطرح النتيجة منّو. يا ريت تخبروني بملاحظاتكم. البرنامج بلغة سي++, البرنامج بلغة بايثون.

تجربتي مع الـISDN

مقدّمة

صرلي فترة عم حاول دوّر على وسيلة إتّصال بالإنترنت تكفي حاجات الجامعة الإفتراضيّة, بإعتبار إنّي سجّلت على عدد من المواد لهادا الفصل و ناوي إن شاء الله احضر الدروس و ادرسهم.

الـdial-up ما بيأدّي الغرض على الإطلاق, لإنو إذا كان المدرّس عم يكتب كتير أو عم يفتح شغلات على سطح الكتب (برنامج الدروس تبع الإفتراضيّة بيعتمد على نقل صورة شاشة المدرّس + الصوت من الميكروفون) فرح يبطأ الخط كتير و تعامل البرنامج كتير سيء مع هيك وضع, لإنو بيضل ينقل بشكل تسلسلي و ما بيقطش شي, لدرجة إنو ممكن الواحد يدخل سؤال و يكتشف إنو المدرس مشي عن الموضوع من زمان, يعني الواحد عم يسمع الحكي اللي انحكى من خمس دقايق, و مو عرفان شو عم يصير هلّا.

اليوم لقيت مصدر جديد و كتير قوي لتوزيعات و برامج لينوكس الجديدة.
 
القصّة إنو شركة OpenSky (مزوّد لخدمات الإنترنت عن طريق الأقمار الصناعيّة) بتتيح خدمة إسمها SatKiosk بتبث عن طريقها برامج و نسخ تجريبيّة من الألعاب الحديثة و كمان توزيعات لينوكس الحديثة.

an arabic booksharing site

This is a blog entry because it's mostly unformed and ,probably uninformed, ideas ... just simply begging for input.
 
I think that electronic books whcih can be gotten for free from the internet are a great idea. There are many reasons why they are better than paper books.
 
1) They're very inexpensive. If you aren't paying anything for the book itself, then you're paying for shipment. Since the vast majority of ebooks are very small in size, transferring them over the internet is easy. In fact, you can cram thousands of them on a single dvd and give it to your friends. In comparison, paper books are often expensive. If you're buying, say, an arabic novel, it'll set you back several hundred syrian pounds. An English novel is at least as expensive. If you want an English CS textbook, and want an original edition, then perpare to pay through your throat, at least two thousand syrian pounds, and more likely five or more. You can photocopy such books, of course, but they'll cost at least one syrian pound per page, which can be a lot if you consider the garagantuan sizes of this profession's books. Arabic CS books are not any better. On top of being crap, it's very expensive crap for which we pay through the throat. Ther are exceptional good CS arabic books, from scs for example, but they're also very expensive.
 
2) They're easy to use and you can do many things to them. You can read the book on your bedroom computer, or you can have it on you pda (or these days, cellphone). You can (often) search for a certain term (no need for indexes any longer) and jump from page to page. You can also very easily convert an e-book to a paper book, simply by printing it; you can print it on your home printer or in a shop where they can they professional binding for you as well. Paper books, on the other hand, are not as easy to use. They're easy enough to read (duh) but searching for something is not as easy. Also, carrying them around can be a burden. Also, convertine a paper book to an e-book is not easy at all. 
 
Of course, we're only talking here about free books, which may be (and often are) copyrighted works. Some may call them pirated books. It seems now that free (whether pirated or not) books are only currently viable form of e-books. The other option is drmed books, which are restricted in many ways; you often have to read them only on one device, the one they were bought for, and they can only be printed a certain number of times (sometimes one time only) and they cannot be transferred easily, even when you buy another computer, and they might break when you upgrade a component of your computer. On top of all that, they might not even work correctly. And they cost you money, often the same you pay for a printed paper book, and sometimes more "for the added onvenience"

شو صار اليوم (لقاء) :)

اليوم كان في لقاء مصغّر بين 4 أعضاء من csc-sy.

إلتقيت اليوم abo-elkhell و anathema و foaad . أوّل واحد إلتقيتو كان أبو الخل (خالد). تواعدنا جنب بيتو الساعة 9 الصبح, و أنا طلعت من البيت 9 إلا عشر دقايق (مو طلع بيتو جنب بيتي) و وصّلت لهنيك و صرت حوم حول المكان. صارت الساعة تسعة, و رنّلي على الموبايل, و قاللي إنو قدّام محطة الإطفاء, أنا تطلعت حواليي و ما لقيت حدا, و سألني أبو الخل عن أي محطّة إطفاء نحنا تواعدنا جنبها, و طلع بعدين إنو نحنا واقفين جنب بعض و مو دريانين.
