the recent error page at YouTube.com.
For what seemed like an eternity, YouTube’s front page was down – for
approximately 5.5 hours (based on the time of posting on Mashable.com).
Youtube.com was displaying an “Http/1.1 Service Unavailable” error
message and only some users were able to reach their videos via their
personal video links.

So was this an attack on YouTube in response to Google’s planned retreat
from China? Or was it some kind of terrible coding and relocating
issue with some of the main content for YouTube.com? Or
is the word retreat just a way to get your attention?
