سمعت أنو في مكتبات جاهزة لتعمل تحويلات فورييه او انكن بلشتو من الصفر.... :

مظبوط كلامك في مكتبات جاهزة وكتير سهلة الاستخدام لذلك نجن ما ردنا نشتغل بهذا الطريق وعدنا برمجة ال FFT و IFFT وإلا الفكرة هي أصلا بايخة إذا بدنا نستعمل القوالب الجاهزة الموجودة في matlab

نحنا هدفنا كان أنو نبرمج FFT، يعني ما كان مطلوب أصلاً بالوظيفة
لو كان بدنا نعمل برنامج بيستخدم تحويل فورييه، أكيد كنا استخدمنا مكتبات أنو خوارزميتها أفضل بشكل عام

Okay guys well done, but why don't you post us some code snippets to have fun with ?!

By the way, Mods please note that all code posted to this board is displayed in completely messed up manner because the CODE feature doesn't use proportional fonts.
We need square fonts (e.g. of the Courier family) to post code that looks more like real code.

I think that the FFT algorithm is a bit hard if if you first examine it.....
Tht's because you need to understand some basic algebric notations and the idea behind the DFT, and how FFT was concluded from DFT, so I think that we have a new subject to start in the math and algorithms forum, see you there

You don't need to post us everything there; just a general framework, and let us smash our heads against it.

You can't tell, maybe someone here could come off with a better code than you.

By the way, why don't we have common open source codebase exclusive to these forums ?

I'm not speeking of the code, in fact, I think that we have writen the worst implementation ever for the FFT algorithm.....
I meant that the idea of the algorithm will be very myserious if we didn't speek of it......

Now you should have some idea.
But I don't thing that it would be as easy to copy and paste the ideas off the reference to your working code.

Hey Derar, just wait untill we post some theoretical and abstract concepts bofore the code....you know, the algorithm is much more important than the synthax

As this subject, not alot of students are intrested in it because a few of them need it in their applications, any way i was talking to strontium90 for joking only, and i think the algorithm is not important enough because there are a lot of programs which provide you a complete tools to deal with a large number of functions and transforms

Well derarief, if we think that way then many things that we study right now is not important because there's already many easy premade applications that helps us.........I think that you MUST use these applications and tools (it's the way that the world evolves), but you have to understand the basic idea first.
