ما بعتقد, بس في بعضهن ممكن الواحد يفعّل الخيار بسهولة, متل ما عمل skeeter (الله يذكره بالخير No hide nor hair of the BSDs. But I asked them to push PC-BSD 1.2, so they migh do it. It will be more value than all those redundant Linux distors. Of course the reason they push so many distros is that there is little else legal content out there that takes space and is wanted by very few people, and they want people to sign up for the paid-for sattorrent file-fetch service (24€ per gigabyte) to get (paid-for) Anyway, I've bought the cards and will sign up with opensky soon, so you can expect a review of internet via satellite in a couple of weeks.
You got LinSpire for free? weird,I thought it was a commercial version. I think it's one of the most user friendly linux distros. By the way, if you can get the new Elive, its a great new build with a new enhanced enlightenment desktop (I think its better than 17, could be 17.something) as I have seen from the screenshots. And this time its a lot less buggy and contains a lot more packages.
Well, it actually turned out to besomething called FreeSpire, and not Linspire itself. My problem now is picking which distros to install. Suse 10.1 would have been my first choice, but the version we have is an alpha and has a few bugs that might prove annoying. I think I'll go with Gentoo and Kubuntu, 64-bit versions, as they are the best supported.
I got suse linux 10.1, and it had xgl working! I'll give it to the bookshop soon hopefully.

Thanks man.I actually found this distro called Sabayon Linux that have XGL/AIGLX by default, so I've downloaded it (it comes on 1 DVD) and it turned out to be a great distro (judging from the live version) man it even comes with 2 games demos Quack 4 and Cold War (this must be the distro for me Anyway I'll be adding the above mentioned distros and Kororaa AIGLXgl 0.3 to the bookshop list as soon as I can. Wow, man. This saboyan distro sounds very interesting, because it is actually gentoo under the hood, and it's a dvd full of software, finally a way to stop the endless downloads. (I found that the suse 10.1 version I have does not contain any proprietary software, and lacks many other imporant open source programs, so I've had to download a lot of stuff.) I'm sorry to hear about the raid controller. That X server business is always painful, by the way. I think you can fix it however, if you download the nvidia display driver because it auto-configures X and 3D acceleration.

I don't think so. They're saying that the 2.4 kernel had support for some software raid controller but it has been removed from the 2.6 kernel (that's what the SUSE installer said), I don't think they're going to put it back!

Unfortunately they don't have a 64Bit Driver, but I have been able to start X using the standard VGA driver. I'm now looking for a way to install PC-BSD (the PBI system really make sense, It was originally one of my advices to the free software community It is very strange that they actually removed support for a piece of hardware. Perhaps it was a binary driver? By the way, I think using a 32-bit os is better than using a 64-bit one for the time being, since almost all binary drivers and precompiled packages are 32-bit. I'm currently using Suse 10.1 32-bit.
