Okay Mr. Mokhtar,
let me say that it is n't a big deal to write in English, the big problem is to speak or to go on a random conversation or even to understand every word when u watch a movie or even listen to music, cuz all of us by reading alot of books and references our language is improving automaticaly........
AW as u r just at first year, u still have time to improve ur language, bt this doesn't mean that it's n't a brilliant idea to write in English; it is a step on the way; thnx very much for ur participation...

it`s really good idea but I have a point here
we are not poor in writing in English as we are in speaking and talking in English
I suggest to open a topic ( in this topic ) and discuss it in English
but it shouldn`t be a sooooooo diffucult one that everybody gets fobia after reading it and swear not to use English any more

i'm not kidding these topics were discussed in a forum but the problem is they discuss topics about muslims and arab like Islam:veiling women! and there was a bad image about us

No offense guys; but the topics you are talking about are so traditional. I remeber that once at the a conversation course we discussed most of these topics and that wasn't fun at all.

I want to add something: reading books and references about computers will only improve your language in that field. I know people who had studied everything in English, but when it comes to life issue they are so bad and they make very silly mistake. So, it won't be bad to talk about anything else here.

Thanks for the topic and I hope everyone will try to write something here. And if you are not so good in English you can do some effort, look up some words in dictionary, and by the time you'll language will get better.

we can make a questionaire so we can depend a topic
What do you say if everyone says what topic he wants from these topics???
for me I chose the global warming ( we talked about it in Bakliorea alot and I really like it ) or about spanking children???

I'm totally with hanisaf , foaad and of course ahnaqsh, especially the part that says that your English won't improve by talking to each other, I tell you because I have American friends and I tried to talk with them, you'll find yourself in a situation where you don't have much time to translate and think then think and translate then talk, so improving English comes from these situations, reading in English and (in my opinion) watching movies (even with Arabic subtitles you can override them) and for some people listening to English songs and trying to figure the lyrics out.
