أصدرت جوجل أحد أهم مكونات برنامج جوجل لسطح المكتب لنظام التشغيل اللينكس ، حيث أخير تم اصدار نسخة خاصة من Google Gadgets لنظام اللينكس ، باصدارتين ، اصدارة بـ GTK+ لبيئة جنوم و اصدارة Qt لبيئة الكيدي مع وعد بدعم بلازما في المستقبل .
و Google Gadgets هي بريمجات تكون على سطح المكتب توفر المعلومات و وصول سريع لأهداف معينة .

Well , I've tried both Google Gadgets and Yahoo Widgets

For me , I like and prefer and use Yahoo Widgets With Windows XP

I've using them for more than two years

They're very useful , especially for notebooks

And there're a lot of widgets such as (utilities news games radio search clocks webcams countdown weather communication plugins shopping audio programming sports transportation entertainment photos spotlight finance )

Well , I still haven't heard any news from Yahoo! about new Widgets for Linux!!!.
What about you?
